As summer draws to the close in the UK some of our native birds are ready to take their annual break - leaving our shores and heading for warmer climes.

And just as some of our local feathered friends take their leave, we'll be using the 'arrivals' board to learn about birds who return to the UK through the Autumn season from Europe and even colder climates.

From thrushes, to geese, owls and the odd wader or two -we'll use these new arrivals as inspiration for learning how to sketch and paint a range of wild birds.
